Plastic Fusion

​To assure safety in the transport of hazardous gases and liquids in the nation’s pipelines, pipeline operators are required to have individuals who perform covered tasks trained and qualified. 

 

Our evaluators/trainers/certifiers are well versed in plastic fusion regulations and procedures utilizing the newest available fusion technologies and equipment.  We are available to train and/or evaluate your personnel in the following fusions areas:

 

  • Butt fusion (including hydraulic)

  • Saddle/Sidewall fusion

  • Socket fusion

  • Electrofusion

  • Fusion visual inspection

  • Mechanical fittings (stab and compression couplings)

Plastic fusion evaluations/certifications give Operators the ability to ensure all contractors working on their pipeline system are fully capable of installing and maintaining plastic piping according to their specific standards and specifications.

We have qualified teams available (including Spanish speaking) armed with the skills and knowledge to teach and assess contractors' ability to install and maintain your pipeline in accordance with your policies and procedures.
